Staff RN - Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator

Summary

Job Summary:  Interprets and implements quality assurance standards in hospital to ensure quality care to patients by performing the following duties.
Focus on performance improvement teams that constantly strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies. Act as a “Change Agent” to systematically implement process changes using Lean/Six Sigma technique in collaboration with PRMC Leadership. Assists in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and quality initiatives.
Promotes patient and staff safety in daily activities.

Job Qualifications:   Successful candidate must at least have an Kansas RN license with at least 2 years fo experience in the nursing field.

It is preferred that this person have a Kansas BSN with a strong analytical backgound with excellent computer skills, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of statistics.  Excellent verbal and communication skills a must.   Understanding the data analytics and statistical methods with a broad understanding of the different Systems.  Must be proficiant using Excel. Preferred to be certified with Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
