Summary

Job Summary:   Successful candidate will be working closely with the Surgicenter physicians providing primary level of care with  a specific patient population Women's Health, in the outpatient and/or the impatient setting.  The advance practice provider maintains an advance knowledge base and skills in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical and psychosocial assessment, and management of health and illness in the care of individuals.


Job Qualifications: 
APRN - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; one or more years of hospital experience preferred; knowledge of nursing theory and practice required.  Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner (ARNP) licensure in the State of Kansas or has work permit from the State Board of Nursing; National Board Certification (ANCC or AANPC).  BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification within the first 2 weeks of employment.  Possible travel to various locations in Kansas.    
PA - Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required; one or more years of hospital experience preferred.  Current Physician Assistant licensure in the State of Kansas or has a temporary license from the State Board of Healing Arts; National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required or within six to twelve months of employment; BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification within the first 2 weeks of employment.  Possible travel to various locations in Kansas.
